Cloud — Business Unit
Cloud, run properly.
We help enterprises migrate to the public cloud, modernize what they move, and operate it to business SLAs. Our AWS practice holds Advanced Tier Services Partner status, with 15 accredited and 20 certified engineers; Azure and GCP practices are launching next.

The challenge we solve
The challenge we solve
Most cloud programs stall between the first migration and real operational maturity. Costs drift, security posture erodes, and the internal team ends up firefighting instead of modernizing. We take enterprises past that plateau with assessment-led migrations, Well-Architected builds, and 24×7 managed operations that meet regulatory expectations, including RBI guidelines for financial institutions.

Protecting a leading private bank's AWS workloads
Read the full case studyOne of India's leading private banks (over 15 million customers and a network of 558 branches) needed to meet RBI guidelines for protecting its AWS workloads. CitiusCloud proposed, designed, and implemented a third-party backup solution for the bank's cloud estate.

EKS DevOps transformation for a housing-finance NBFC
Read the full case studyThe client is a housing-finance NBFC (BFSI) that relies on a purpose-built customer relationship management platform to manage its customer engagement, service, and analytics needs. The platform is a multi-component system comprising a CRM application (React front end and PHP back end), a GenAI-powered assistant, and an analytics module, delivered as a SaaS-style application running on containerised, cloud-native infrastructure.
- As the client's operations scaled, the business needed a DevOps-compliant, cloud-native deployment that could meet the resilience, security, and regulatory standards expected of a BFSI-critical system. CitiusCloud was engaged, under the formal scope of the agreed engagement, to design, deploy, and operationalise the platform on Amazon EKS with end-to-end DevOps delivery, covering everything from CI/CD automation to disaster recovery and compliance controls.

Multi-environment DevOps automation on ECS Fargate
Read the full case studyThe client operates a consumer SaaS platform in the devotional-services space, offering a digital platform that connects users with devotional and religious services online. The platform is built as a set of containerised microservices, delivered to end users as a cloud-native, always-on application, and is designed to support features and services across the devotional-services domain through independently deployable, independently scalable components.
- As the platform grew, the client needed a standardised, automated way to build, test, and release its microservices consistently across multiple environments, while keeping each environment securely isolated. CitiusCloud was engaged, under the formal scope of the agreed engagement, to design and operate a multi-environment DevOps automation solution spanning Dev, Stage, Pre-Prod, and Production, covering CI/CD, infrastructure, and security end to end.

AWS Landing Zone migration for a housing-finance NBFC
Read the full case studyThe client is a housing-finance company operating in India's BFSI/NBFC sector, serving customers through a nationwide branch network supported by a portfolio of core business applications, file services and databases. Prior to this engagement, the client's production and non-production IT estate was hosted on a shared, multi-tenant private cloud datacenter operated by a third-party managed services provider, where compute was provisioned as virtual machines and application data resided on NAS file shares and SAN block storage managed by the service provider.
- As the client's business and data volumes grew, the constraints of a shared datacenter model — fixed capacity, limited administrative control and slow provisioning cycles — increasingly restricted the organisation's ability to scale and respond to business demand. The client therefore decided to exit the shared private cloud and migrate its workloads to Amazon Web Services. CitiusCloud was engaged to plan and execute a lift-and-shift (rehost) migration of the client's servers and storage to AWS, to build a governed, multi-account AWS Landing Zone using AWS Control Tower and AWS Organizations, and to establish a secure, high-throughput data transfer pipeline using AWS DataSync for the migration of NAS- and SAN-resident data.

Multi-region DR on Nutanix Clusters on AWS
Read the full case studyThe client is a globally distributed logistics organization that relies on continuous availability of its infrastructure and business applications to support freight operations, customer services, and regional offices. Its production environment runs on Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure — the AHV hypervisor with the Nutanix Distributed Storage Fabric — at on-premises sites in Buenos Aires, Hong Kong, and Miami.
- The engagement was driven by the need to improve business continuity and recoverability across the client's critical production environments without the cost and operational overhead of maintaining secondary physical data centers. To establish disaster-recovery capability for each site without standing up a second physical data center, the client engaged Nutanix Xpert Services to design and deploy Nutanix Clusters on AWS as the DR target platform.
The client is a SEBI-registered stockbroker and depository participant, providing equity, derivatives, IPO, mutual fund and margin trading services to retail and high-net-worth investors, and is a trading and clearing member of India's principal stock exchanges as well as a depository participant with both NSDL and CDSL. Its trading and post-trade platforms are time-critical systems: any loss of availability during market hours has an immediate impact on clients, on settlement obligations and on the firm's regulatory standing.
- While the client's production workloads already ran on AWS, its disaster-recovery estate remained on-premises in a self-managed datacenter — the last significant physical infrastructure footprint the firm operated. This left part of the estate dependent on ageing hardware that had to be procured, housed and refreshed on a capital cycle, and that was operationally and architecturally divergent from the rest of the environment. CitiusCloud was engaged to migrate these workloads out of the on-premises datacenter into the AWS Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) region — establishing a governed AWS Landing Zone, rehosting the servers, transferring the associated file and block data, and decommissioning the on-premises site once the migration had been validated.

42% cost reduction with Nutanix Cloud Clusters on AWS
Read the full case studyThe client is a premier government-run higher education institution, relying on a growing footprint of digital infrastructure to support academic, administrative, and research workloads across its campuses. To modernize its IT operations, the institution sought to move a portion of its bare-metal AWS-hosted workloads onto a more flexible, cloud-native platform that could simplify operations, control costs, and support multi-tenant delivery of applications and databases to its various departments and units.
- The trigger for this engagement was the institution's need to control rising expenditure on bare-metal services from AWS while simplifying workload security and database operations, without having to refactor existing applications. CitiusCloud Services LLP, working alongside the Nutanix Professional Services team, was engaged as the delivery partner to design and deploy a Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on AWS environment under a formal Statement of Work, with a stringent timeline set to realize the customer's investment quickly.
